Will’s work is reminiscent of an era and trade long past. Influenced by old original hand painted signs, Will uses modern slang, gold gilding and
ageing techniques to re-create traditional signage of yester year. With references to fictional businesses and colloquialisms inspired from days gone by,
Will’s work will invoke a sense of history in the gallery.

Anniversary Piece Commissioned by Like Minded Studio for Bazmark. This piece was painted in reverse and antiqued on glass. It consists of 23,16, and 12 Karat gold leaf reverse gilt on glass.

Here are a couple of progress shots of some things I’ve been working on for the QT Hotel Sydney. Some signage for Gowings Bar and Grill using both 23 and 16 Krt gold leaf and with a pretty impressive fish in the background. I also had to paint a little sign on an old vintage lamp for the Parlour Lane Cafe.
